Wheel Care:

Alloy wheels should be washed regularly with mild soap and water or commercially available wheel cleaners specially formulated for clear coated wheels. If brake dust and dirt are allowed to accumulate on the wheels, you risk damaging the wheel finish which is not covered by warranty. Use a soft cloth to wash and dry the wheels. Brushes or scouring pads may scratch the wheel finish. Do not use wheel cleaners that contain caustic substances such as acid, alkaline or abrasives.

Note: To maintain the aesthetic value of your wheels, wash the wheel more frequently during the winter months to remove any remaining road salt.

Car wax should be used regularly to protect the wheel finish.

JD Wheels does not recommend mechanical car washes as the chemicals often used can damage the wheel finish. Also, the brushes used by these mechanical car washes may scratch the finish.
